That’s why we have a flexible booking policy. If you book your Advanced Adventurer course and can’t make it on the scheduled date, you can reschedule at no additional cost or cancel up to 24 hours in advance. 

Just note that the €60 fee for the SSI digital study kit is non-refundable. But don’t worry! The kit never expires, and you can use it at Aquatis or any SSI center in the future.

To join the SSI Scuba Diver course, you need to meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum age: You must be at least 10 years old.
  • Swimming skills: You don’t have to be an Olympic swimmer, but you should know how to swim. If you can stay afloat and move through the water, you’re ready to start.
  • Medical evaluation: You will need to complete a medical questionnaire.

No, you don’t need a medical certificate to sign up. 

All you need to do is complete a medical questionnaire with a few questions about your health. If you answer yes to any of these questions, then you’ll need to provide a medical certificate.

With an SSI Scuba Diver certification, you can dive into the underwater world up to a depth of 12 meters, always under the supervision of a professional holding a Divemaster or higher certification.

And that’s not all. If you’re eager to continue, you can progress to the SSI Open Water Diver certification. All it takes is completing three more academic sessions, three confined water sessions, and two open water dives.

Once done, you’ll be ready to dive independently with a buddy who has the same or a higher certification level!

Absolutely! Even if you’re not a top-notch swimmer, you can still learn to dive. 

As divers, we use fins and a buoyancy control device, so swimming skills aren’t the main focus. However, there’s a simple test to make sure you’re comfortable in the water. 

You’ll need to float for 10 minutes and swim 200 meters or snorkel for 300 meters. The key is feeling at ease in the water and being in good health. So, with a little confidence, you’ll be ready to dive in and enjoy the wonders beneath the surface!

The course is divided into two exciting components: confined water exercises and open water practice. It’s designed in a compact and efficient format, taking place over one afternoon and one morning.
